How U.S. Foreign Policy Endangers National Security

Through aggressive involvement in Middle East affairs since the Second World War, the United States has been involved in government overthrows on behalf of oil companies, sponsored terrorist groups and activities, and given unprecedented military support to Israel. In doing so, the U.S. has damaged its own national security.
If they U.S. was not directly involved in the September 11th attacks, their foreign policy certainly played a role in provoking it. 2008 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul discussed this in the second candidate debate aired on Fox News in 2007.
"They attack us because we’ve been over there; we’ve been bombing Iraq for ten years." Congressman Paul said.
Candidate Rudy Giuliani accused Paul of "suggesting we invited the 9/11 attack."
"I’m suggesting that we listen to the people who attacked us and the reason they did it," Paul responded. "They don’t come here to attack us because we’re rich and we’re free. They come and they attack us because we’re over there."
On CNN the next day, Paul cited two instances in the 9/11 Commission Report which support his statement. He discussed how U.S. troops on Saudi Arabian territory considered to be "holy land", sanctions on Iraq, and the overthrow of democratic leadership in Iran in 1953 were all motivators of anti-American terrorism in the Middle East.
Here we have Osama bin Laden in Pakistan - they have a nuclear weapon; they have a military dictatorship.; they overthrew an elected government - and what do we do when they get nuclear weapons, not following the NPT treaty? We reward them! We give them money. So I am saying, don't reward people who get nuclear weapons. Then they'll want to get them. That's why Saddam Hussein pretended he had one, because he thought if he had one maybe we would leave him alone. So it is natural for people like Iran to want to get a nuclear weapon, because we respect people who have power, and we disrespect people who we think we can run over...

This is exactly what is happening in Iran. The United Nations and the United States want to stop Iran's Nuclear Development because it will give the country more power to protect itself, better respect in international affairs, and an improved economy.
But, did the U.S. foreign policy provoke the development of an anti-American terrorist movement that climaxed in September 11th attack on America, or was there even more U.S. involvement in the attacks? The U.S. and other nations have been known to provoke terror in the past, and evidence shows they have even carried out False Flag Terror Operations. An official U.S. government document discussed Operation Northwoods, an executive plan to carry out a terrorist attack against U.S. citizens to provoke a war with Cuba.
The entire country was puzzled on 9/11 at the sight of skyscrapers collapsing into themselves after two of the buildings were struck with airliners. Government officials expressed shock at the idea of airliners being used as weapons, yet they were aware of that possibility along with plenty of other 9/11 Prior Intelligence.
Further research into the attacks shows that more than those 19 hijackers had to be involved to make this happen. The Twin Towers and certainly World Trade Center 7 could not have collapsed, let alone imploded and disintegrated as they did, without the use of Controlled Demolition. There are many unanswered questions about the Pentagon crash, including the continued refusal of the Pentagon to release any security tapes that would confirm part of the official story of that incident. And the dispersal of debris in Pennsylvania shows that the official story of that crash does not add up either. Some sort of intelligence group must have been involved in the 9/11 attacks. This is not a far-fetched possibility, considering that U.S. officials met with al Qaeda members before the attacks, and U.S. and Israeli intelligence have been involved in supporting terrorism-related groups before and after 9/11.
