Globalism

The Gravest Threat to American Sovereignty

According to Patrick Wood of The August Review globalism is,

The collective effect of purposeful and amoral manipulation that seeks to centralize economic, political, technological and societal forces in order to accrue maximum profit and political power to global banks, global corporations and the elitists who run them.

"Free Trade" is the central mantra. Globalization is set against national Sovereignty, closed borders, trade tarrifs and anything that would restrict its goals and methods used to achieve them.

Globalization promotes regional and global government, a one-world economic system of trade and a form of fascism where global corporations and their elite control the policies and directives of individual governments.1

With the backing of the worlds largest banks and corporations, political groups, Secret Organizations, and philanthropic foundations organize and carry out the globalist agenda. Included among these groups are Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.

International "peacekeeping" organizations such as the United Nations and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) play a major role in forming the foundation of world government.

Free trade agreements establish economic cooperation between nations, which build into superstates. This has already happened with the development of the European Union. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has pushed the United States, Canada and Mexico in that same direction, toward a North American Union. NAFTA resulted in a reduction of wages in Mexico, which led to the immigration surge plaguing the United States.2

Rep. Dennis Kucinich on NAFTA and Immigration

"I think that someone needs to say, and I’m willing to say it, that the basis of this whole battle over immigration ignores the fact that the waves of immigration started right after NAFTA passed. Wages collapsed in Mexico. Migrants came across the border seeking a chance for a better wage and a better life.

"I’m saying that we need to go back to NAFTA. We need to cancel NAFTA and cancel the WTO, go back to bilateral trade conditioned on workers’ rights, human rights and environmental quality principles. Once we have a trade agreement between the United States and Mexico that’s based on workers’ rights and a decent wage, then workers in Mexico can be assured that they can have a decent living. They don’t have to go north of the border in seeking that opportunity. People should have a chance to make the money where they live, but they haven’t been able to do that, because of these trade laws.

"We need to stop attacking these migrant workers, because actually what’s been happening is they’re the victims of a system that has enabled corporations to make great profits using a cheap supply of labor. This has been a disgrace in this country, where we’ve actually supported a form of slave labor, and that has to stop. People who have been in this country and have been contributing to this country should have a path to legalization. We need to have, certainly, some control at the borders. But I’ll tell you, the way this whole immigration thing has been couched, I think, has done a disservice to the proud tradition of this country in welcoming immigrants from all around the world." -Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH)

The North American Union is perhaps the biggest current threat to American sovereignty, as its development is already underway. It started in 2005 with the meeting of leaders called the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America. Expanding on the leaders' plan, the Council on Foreign Relations released the document Building a North American Community. A group calling itself North America's SuperCorridor Coalition put the first parts of the North American Union plan, an international transportation system, into action.

In addition to international privatized infrastructure, the CFR and the globalists are also advocating the Globalization of Currency, starting with three regional currencies, the Euro, Amero and a pan-Asian currency.

The CFR also advocated in their document the formation of a new secretive policy organization, modelled off Bilderberg, to run parallel to the SPP and form the North American Union like Bilderberg formed the European Union. This is the North American Forum, which started shortly after the SPP.

Rep. Ron Paul on American Sovereignty

"The first President Bush said the New World Order was in tune-- and that's what they were working for. The U.N. is part of that government. They're working right now very significantly towards a North American Union. That's why there's a lot of people in Washington right now who don't care too much about our borders. They have a philosophical belief that national sovereignty is not important. It's also the reason I've made the very strong suggestion the U.S. need not be in the U.N. for our national security." -Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX)
