2008 Presidential Candidates Who Oppose the New World Order

In the 2008 election, the most important issues facing America are foreign policy and ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, an economy in danger of collapse, and globalization threatening our sovereignty. Clinton, McCain and Obama do not have acceptable solutions to these issues, if they even bother to bring them up. If Ron Paul does not succeed at the 2008 Republican National Convention, we must focus on third party candidates to halt the New World Order in 2008.

Candidates

Dr. Chuck Baldwin (Constitution)

On April 26, 2008, state delegates of the Constitution Party elected Chuck Baldwin to be their Presidential candidate during their national nominating convention in Kansas City, Missouri. Chuck won the nomination with a percentage vote of 74% to 24% over Ambassador Alan Keyes. Campaign site...

"We will stop this international meddling and empire building. When Chuck Baldwin is sworn in as President of these United States the ‘New World Order’ comes crashing down!"

"We will have a national defense that is second to none, with armed forces that serve only under the American flag, and whose mission will be to defend these United States of America!"

"A Baldwin economic policy will provide opportunities and freedom for millions of average Americans, not obscene profits for international bankers and multinational corporations."

"As President, I will terminate United States membership in the United Nations."

"The globalists are after our sovereignty, our freedom and our national independence. I will stand up for the economic security and independence of our people and the sovereignty of our American republic." (source)

Bob Barr (Libertarian)

Bob Barr represented the 7th District of Georgia in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003, serving as a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, as Vice-Chairman of the Government Reform Committee, and as a member of the Committee on Financial Services. He now runs a consulting firm, Liberty Strategies LLC, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and with offices in the Washington, D.C. area. Campaign site...

"For far too long and at the cost of American blood and treasure, our great military has been too willingly and quickly used for purposes other than national defense. Our fighting men and women deserve better and the integrity of our nation must be restored."

"Our National Defense policy must renew a commitment to non-intervention. We are not the world's police force and our long, yet recently tarnished, tradition of respecting the sovereignty of other nations is necessary, not from only a moral standpoint, but to regain the respect of the world as a principled and peaceful nation."

"Cutting spending would allow America to implement real tax reform. Our goal should be to reduce both the tax burden on Americans and the intrusion in their lives resulting from IRS enforcement of the income tax. One of the best approaches would be to adopt some form of a consumption tax, like a national sales tax, replacing the Internal Revenue Service and all federal income taxes as well as payroll taxes."

"It is not enough to eliminate the income tax. We also must repeal the 16th amendment, which authorizes Congress to levy an income tax. Without doing so, there would be an ever-present danger that a future Congress would attempt to bring back the income tax on top of the Fair Tax or any other alternative to the income tax." (source)

"Since his first day in Congress back in 1995, Barr has tirelessly fought to eliminate the Internal Revenue Code, supported the "flat tax" proposal, and consistently supported passage of a constitutional amendment requiring a two-thirds supermajority of Congress to raise taxes."

"He is a fierce critic of the United Nations — and to a lesser degree NATO — and has consistently supported efforts to withdraw U.S. membership from the United Nations."

"He co-sponsored a committee amendment to withdraw the U.S. from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank." (source)

Cynthia McKinney (Green)

A former six-term Member of Congress from Georgia, Cynthia McKinney proved herself a courageous voice for the voiceless, unafraid to speak truth to power. Cynthia's Power to the People Committee is working to put Cynthia on fifty-one ballot lines! Campaign Site...

"In 1999, I voted yes on a measure to prohibit an invasion of Kosovo."

"In 2006, I voted no on declaring Iraq part of War on Terror with no exit date. I consistently opposed every regular and supplemental appropriation meant to fund the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq."

"I was targeted by AIPAC and others for my opposition to the Israeli occupation and genocidal polices toward Palestine."

"I authorized the No Tax Breaks for Runaway Plants bill in Congress that would take tax breaks away from corporations that moved their plants overseas." (source)
